张又普：《兰州大学1954年罢工事件》的反馈和回复
《华夏文摘》(http://www.cnd.org/)是世界上第一份中文电子杂志，自1989年初创刊以来，至今(2017年)已28载，在海外华人圈中有很大的影响。不过由于存在着强大的防火墙之故，它对国内的影响力很小。2016年1月28日，我的文章被发表以来(http://hx.cnd.org/?p=119699)，收到来自世界各地的许多反馈，有褒有贬，非常正常。对于那些支持者，只需说一声谢谢就够了，对于反对者，则需要用一些笔墨和思考。下面把一些有水平有内容的反对意见汇总在一起，给予回复。
反馈：此文可说是中国人马马虎虎、稀里糊涂，不严谨的又一例子。作者连一些基本事实都不核实，比如兰州大学文革中打死多少人，兰州大学校长是谁，是否死亡，吴玉章是否是教育部长等都没有弄清楚。随随便便就把一些道听途说当史实写出来，自己一点功课都不做， 这种东西害人不浅！
回答：没做足功课，这是事实，原因是找不到任何有关报道。我是第一位有勇气出来说真话的人，希望能起到抛砖引玉的作用，引起更多的人来关注和研究这一罢工事件。不是我们不核实基本事实，也不是中国人马马虎虎、稀里糊涂、故意不严谨，而是在当今中国的国情下，我们很难有可能从事这方面的历史学调查研究。批评别人不严谨的人，可以设想一下自己有无能力去“严谨”。
1954年兰州大学发生了一场罢工事件，这大概不会有误，我父亲是见证人，我们父子之间私下说的悄悄话，不会有假。至于这场罢工有多大规模，死了多少人，则是听那两位兰州大学的知情者说的。如今60多年过去了，可能很难确定其精确数值。在中国历史上，只有在下一代王朝才能对上一代王朝进行历史学研究。作为现时代的人物，我们不可能从事认真全面的研究，我们知道的知识肯定是不全面的，甚至是支离破碎的。因此，我们只能把我们知道的事情如实地写下来，做好历史记录。相信待我们死后很多年，新时代的某些历史学家们，会打开《华夏文摘》的历史文库，认真研究我们今日提供的资料，还原出历史的真正面貌。
我大概是世界上第一位将1954年兰州大学罢工事件公布于众的人，我的文章不能算是“历史研究”，只能算是“历史资料”。我仅仅是听到三位老前辈的谈论，事后加以回忆、记录、整理而已。文章发表后，引起了一些历史学家的兴趣和评论，下述文章似乎值得一阅：

(2)当年游行示威集会抗议应该是属于合法的，至於反右时算后帐也是无可否认的客观事实。再以后恰恰是邓大人掌权后这四大自由就不明不白地成了非法的或是破坏干挠…………的了！无论怎么看，实践证明，我们对大学的管理是不成功并且是有违自然科学规律的，对比下世界一流大学与我们的大学的科研成果及各方面差异，结果自能说明问题。大学就应该似蔡元培先生所主张的那样去办，才能真正为国家培育出称职的栋梁之才！
