历史人物熊向辉
1965年8月26日，人民日报发表了一篇文章《胸中自有雄兵百万》，写的是1947年胡宗南率24万大军进攻延安，毛泽东率西北野战军2万余人与之周旋，最后将其击败。该文将毛泽东捧成神仙，使当时年幼无知的我崇拜得五体投地。
1976年毛泽东死后，原西北野战军官兵纷纷发文，指出那一仗是由彭德怀指挥的，故而得胜。然而我仍半信半疑，胡宗南是黄埔军校第一期最优秀的学生，能征善战、足智多谋，24万大军何以败给2万人马？
近年来我怀着极大的兴趣，阅读了许多相关文献，才了解到，这位决定胜负的神秘人物原来是熊向辉(1919年4月12日—2005年9月9日)。1930年代中期，青年学生熊向辉思想左倾，被中共负责特务情报的董必武看中，秘密发展入党，单线联系。熊向辉毕业后，被董必武安排到胡宗南部下从军。熊向辉勤奋努力、能力过人，连连晋升，至1947年已官至胡宗南的机要秘书，胡宗南所接收和发送的命令，全都由熊向晖处理。胡宗南进攻延安时，熊向辉参与了所有军事部署，并将所有情报迅速汇报给董必武、彭德怀，使得这一仗变成了耳聋眼瞎的大象与耳聪目明的老鼠之间的战斗。1948年底，国民党中统局在河北省破获了一个中共地下组织，间接发现了熊向辉。待消息传至西安时，熊向辉已安全离开西安。熊向辉后来历任数届中共中央委员。2005年9月，熊向辉在大陆安度晚年，寿终正寝。
